Ardmore surely comes to mind when thinking about peated whiskies outside Islay. I wish I could find more information about Peat’s Beast region but it seems to be very well hidden.

Overall the price is decent and the whisky is pleasant and enjoyable, quite a good value in my books.

I don’t remember where I got this information, I believe it was from the brands own website which at the moment, seems to be “under construction”. Some reviewer stated at Whiskybase that Peat’s Beast cask strength was a Speysider.
