Glenturret

  • Located on the banks of the Turret River near Crieff in Perthshire, in Scottish Highlands, The Glenturret Distillery was founded in 1775.
  • It is Scotland’s most visited whisky distillery because of their award winning The Famous Grouse Experience.
  • There are claims, that the distillery was first established in 1717 but it was controlled by tax avoiding illicit distillers. This would make Glenturret the oldest distillery in Scotland.
