  • Pale ale – earthy, spicy and aromatic flavors.
  • IPA aka Indian Pale Ale – usually very pronounced hop profile all the way from the nose to the finish.
  • Amber ale – malt flavors and usually some balanced hop bitterness.
  • Irish red ale – malt highlighted with caramel sweetness.
  • Brown ale – dark malty flavors with caramel and coffee.
  • Porter – usually chocolate notes and mild roast in the finish.
  • Stout – heavy roasted flavors and notes of coffee, chocolate, molasses.
