Have you ever stumbled upon a question, what kind of beer am I in the mood for? I have, lot’s of times. And especially in the summer time the question comes up a lot between traditional wheat beer and pale ale or indian pale ale. Because all of them are usually refreshing, great summer brewskies. Well, think I just resolved the dilemma – Mufloni Mosaic Wheat Indian Pale Ale seems to offer both of those sides. It gives you good wheat beer sensations and, in my opinion, offers the best parts of a great IPA.
I ran into this by accident. Immediately when I saw the statement “vehnäipa” (wheat-IPA) on the label, my brains started to think: have I found the solution for my never ending battle in the beer aisle?
Behold, my new summer favorite
In theory, this could not work, the skeptic in me thought. But in practice, it did really work! I have found my new summer favorite, when it comes to beer. Mufloni Wheat IPA is a product from Pori, Finland. Brewed in Panimoravintola Beer Hunter’s, established in 1998, responsible for the Old Buck whisky. The name of this indian pale ale comes from the Mosaic hops used in the making.
Scoring
Like I’ve stated before, every beer worth getting a review from a novice like me, is worth the full ten points.
10 Perfect summer beer, yet great for any occasion or time of the year. Brewery: Panimoravintola Beer Hunter’s, Pori, Finland Brand: Mufloni ABV: 6%
