  • It was founded in 1810 but the distillery has been liquidated in 1925, and closed between 1927 and 1935. It was a new rejuvenated in 1958.
  • After a production stoppage in 2000, the distillery was completely rebuilt in 2003-2004.
  • Most of the whisky distilled at Glenburgie is used for blended whiskies, such as Ballantine’s and Old Smuggler.
