Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or – 12 year old review

Aberlour 10 year old single malt is matured in a combo of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. I guess I can say, it is a typical Speysider. Popular dram that has a good supply, it’s been exported to over fifty countries. Almost like Jack Daniel’s but with better quality of content.
LIFE IS SWEET with this dram
This Aberlour is like a good sweet drama comedy. Rich with laughter and seriousness – balancing nicely between two different worlds. Spicy, sweet and dry, nice dram.
Ralfy stated that “Aberlour seems to work best as a younger whisky rather than an older whisky”. I haven’t tasted any older Aberlours, but there might be a point when you look at the reviews A’bunadh is getting.
I won’t be changing the score, but I rest my case with Aberlour 10YO single malt: it makes life feel sweet, even for a peathead like myself, who isn’t always capable of appreciating sherry matured whiskies. This Aberlour suits for me as well, and it certainly is not overpriced.
